IPR Enforcement: Vacuums, Carburetors, Graphics Processors, Electrical Connectors

Robotic Vacuums. In investigation 337-TA-1057 the International Trade Commission has issued (a) a limited exclusion order prohibiting three respondents from importing vacuum cleaning devices and components thereof, such as spare parts, that infringe one or more of specified patent claims asserted by complainant iRobot corporation and (b) cease and desist orders against two respondents prohibiting them from selling or distributing such products within the U.S. The ITC has also determined that infringing goods may continue to enter the U.S. during the 60-day period the president has to review this remedy under bonds ranging from zero to 48.65 percent.

Carburetors. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1123 of carburetors and products containing such with respect to one respondent based on a settlement agreement with complainant Walbro LLC.

Graphics Processors. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1099 of graphics processors and products containing the same with respect to four patent claims based on the partial withdrawal of the complaint by ZiiLabs Inc. Ltd.

Electrical Connectors. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1043 of electrical connectors, components thereof, and products containing the same with respect to one respondent.
