Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Committee to Meet Sept. 10

The International Trade Administration’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee will hold an open meeting Sept. 10 in Washington, D.C. Members of the public wishing to attend the meeting must notify the ITA no later than Aug. 30.

This committee provides private-sector advice on the development and administration of programs and policies to enhance the international competitiveness of the U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency industries. The Sept. 10 meeting will consist of presentations from four subcommittee teams – finance, U.S. competitiveness, trade policy and trade promotion – on their work thus far and potential topics for future recommendations. The committee will also receive presentations from representatives from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and the Export-Import Bank of the United States on financing for RE&EE exports.
