The Bureau of Industry and Security has entered into a settlement agreement with a United Kingdom company that will pay a $130,000 civil penalty to settle charges that it reexported drilling tools and equipment subject to the Export Administration Regulations from the United Arab Emirates to Syria without the required Department of Commerce authorization.
