AD/CV: Rebar, Steel Bar, Steel Pipe, MSG, Sodium Hexametaphosphate

Rebar. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Mexico for the period Nov. 1, 2016, through Oct. 31, 2017, the ITA has determined weighted average dumping margins of zero for Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V. and 3.70 percent for a number of other companies.

In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the CV duty order on rebar from Turkey for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2016, the ITA has determined net subsidy rates of 0.04 percent to 1.37 percent. The ITA also intends to rescind this review with respect to three companies that had no shipments of subject goods to the U.S. during this period.

Steel Bar. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on stainless steel bar from Spain for the period March 1 through Aug. 8, 2017, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 1.76 percent for Sidenor Aceros Especiales S.L.

Steel Pipe. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from Oman for the period June 8, 2016, through Nov. 30, 2017, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 3.84 percent for Al Jazeera Steel Products Co. SAOG.

In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on such pipe from Korea for the period Nov. 1, 2016, through Oct. 31, 2017, the ITA has determined weighted average dumping margins of 8.47 percent to 12.65 percent.

MSG. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on monosodium glutamate from Indonesia for the period Nov. 1, 2016, through Oct. 31, 2017, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 24.68 percent for PT Cheil Jedang Indonesia and rescinded the review with respect to PT Miwon Indonesia due to the timely withdrawal of the request for review.

Sodium Hexametaphosphate. In its sunset review of the AD duty order on sodium hexametaphosphate from China, the International Trade Commission has determined that revocation of this order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time.
