Following are highlights of regulatory effective dates and deadlines and federal agency meetings coming up in the next week.

Aug. 14 – effective date of EPA final rule on nanoscale material imports

Aug. 14 – deadline for comments to FDA on recordkeeping and records access requirements for food facilities

Aug. 14 – deadline to resubmit post-importation preference claims rejected as non-protestable

Aug. 14 – deadline for comments to FTZ Board on requests for production authority, new subzone

Aug. 14 – deadline for comments on CBP information collections on broker exams, import costs, duty-free goods, FTZs

Aug. 15 – deadline for comments to FTZ Board on proposed expansion of Miami zone

Aug. 15 – ITC hearing in safeguard investigation of solar cells

Aug. 15 – deadline for comments to USDA on proposal to allow imports of cooked poultry from China

Aug. 15 – deadline for comments to BIS on import, end-user, and delivery verification certificates

Aug. 18 – deadline for comments to CBP on proposed revocations and modifications of classification and other rulings
