FTZ Board Considers Production Requests for Power Equipment, Glass Fabrics Facilities

The FTZ Board has received from MTD Consumer Group Inc. a notification of proposed activity for its facility within FTZ 283 in Martin, Tenn., which is used for the production of power landscaping equipment and off-road utility vehicles. Comments on this notification are due no later than July 31.

The FTZ Board has received from PGTEX USA Inc. a notification of proposed production activity for its facility within FTZ 68 in El Paso, Texas. PGTEX already has authority to produce fiber glass fabrics within site 3 of this zone and the current request would add glass fiber rovings as an input to the scope of authority. Comments on this notification are due no later than July 31.
