Corrosion-Resistant Steel. The International Trade Commission has made preliminary affirmative antidumping and countervailing injury determinations on corrosion-resistant steel products from China, India, Italy, Korea and Taiwan. As a result, the International Trade Administration will continue its AD and CV duty investigations of these products, with its preliminary determinations due on or about Aug. 27 (CV) and Nov. 10 (AD).

Plastic Bags. In a new changed circumstances review of the AD duty order on polyethylene retail carrier bags from Thailand, the ITA has preliminarily determined that TPBI Public Company Limited is the successor-in-interest to Thai Plastic Bags Industries Company Limited and as such will be entitled to the latter’s exclusion from this order. Comments on this determination are due no later than Aug. 19.
