AD/CV: Pipe, Washers, Wind Towers, Silicomanganese, PET Resin

New Sunset Reviews. The International Trade Administration and International Trade Commission have initiated sunset reviews of the following antidumping duty orders. These reviews will result in either the revocation or continuation of these orders.

- silicomanganese from India, Kazakhstan, and Venezuela

- welded large-diameter line pipe from Japan

Cast Iron Soil Pipe. The ITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of cast iron soil pipe from China. A hearing will be held Jan. 15, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Jan. 10, pre-hearing briefs are due by Dec. 20, post-hearing briefs are due by Jan. 22, and final comments are due by Feb. 11.

Residential Washers. The ITC has scheduled a full sunset review of the AD and/or CV duty orders on large residential washers from Mexico and Korea. A hearing will be held Jan. 17, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Jan. 10, pre-hearing briefs are due by Jan. 8, post-hearing briefs are due by Jan. 25, and final comments are due by Feb. 19. This review will result in the revocation or continuation of these orders.

Wind Towers. The ITC has scheduled a full sunset review of the AD and/or CV duty orders on utility-scale wind towers from China and Vietnam. A hearing will be held Jan. 24, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Jan. 16, pre-hearing briefs are due by Jan. 10, post-hearing briefs are due by Jan. 31, and final comments are due by Feb. 28. This review will result in the revocation or continuation of these orders.

PET Resin. The ITA has rescinded its administrative review of the AD duty order on polyethylene terephthalate resin from Canada for the period May 1, 2017, through April 30, 2018, due to the timely withdrawal of the request for review. The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess AD duties on entries of goods during this period at the AD cash deposit rates required at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for consumption.
