Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Pipe Fittings. The International Trade Administration has postponed from Dec. 20 to Feb. 8 its preliminary antidumping duty determination on cast iron soil pipe fittings from China. The petitioner requested this delay because it believes the ITA needs more time to analyze the information submitted to date.

Steel Wire Rod. The ITA has amended its preliminary affirmative dumping determination on carbon and alloy steel wire rod from Korea to increase the weighted average dumping margin to 40.8 percent. AD cash deposits at this rate will be effective as of Nov. 28.

Tool Chests. The ITA has made a final affirmative countervailing duty determination on tool chests and cabinets from China. The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to require CV cash deposits on entries of subject goods at the final net subsidy rates, which range from 14.39 percent to 95.96 percent.
