AD/CV: Pipe Fittings, Polyester Staple Fiber, Decorative Ribbon

Pipe Fittings. The International Trade Administration is continuing the antidumping duty orders on stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Italy, Malaysia, and the Philippines, effective Dec. 29.

Butt-weld pipe fittings are under 14 inches in outside diameter (based on nominal pipe size), whether finished or unfinished. The covered product encompasses all grades of stainless steel and commodity and specialty fittings. Subject fittings are currently classifiable under HTSUS 7307.23.0000. Specifically excluded from these orders are threaded, grooved, and bolted fittings; fittings made from any material other than stainless steel; and cast fittings.

Polyester Staple Fiber. The International Trade Commission has scheduled an expedited sunset review of the AD duty order on polyester staple fiber from China and is accepting comments no later than Feb. 14. This review will result in either the revocation or continuation of this order.

Plastic Decorative Ribbon. The ITC has instituted AD and CV injury investigations of plastic decorative ribbon from China. A conference will be held Jan. 17, requests to appear at the conference are due by Jan. 12, written comments are due by Jan. 22, and the ITC’s preliminary determinations are due by Feb. 12.
