AD/CV: Pipe Fittings, PET Resin, Scope Rulings

Pipe Fittings. The International Trade Administration has rescinded its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on non-malleable cast iron pipe fittings from China for the period April 1, 2016, through March 31, 2017. The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess AD duties on all appropriate entries of subject goods during this period at the AD cash deposit rates required at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for consumption.

PET Resin. The ITA has rescinded its administrative review of the AD duty order on polyethylene terephthalate resin from Canada for the period Oct. 15, 2015, through April 30, 2017. The ITA will instruct CBP to assess AD duties on all appropriate entries of subject goods during this period at the AD cash deposit rates required at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for consumption.

Scope Rulings. The ITA has published a list of scope rulings and anti-circumvention determinations made on the following AD and/or CV duty orders between July 1 and Sept. 30, 2016.

- aluminum extrusions from China (AD/CV)

- carbon steel butt-weld pipe fittings from China (AD)

- circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from China (AD)

- non-malleable cast iron pipe fittings from China (AD)

- seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from China (AD/CV)

- wooden bedroom furniture from China (AD)
