Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Pencils. In its sunset review of the antidumping duty order on cased pencils from China, the International Trade Commission has determined that revoking this order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. As a result, this order will be continued for five years.

Flanges. The ITC has made final affirmative AD injury determinations on finished carbon steel flanges from India and Italy and a final affirmative CV injury determination on such flanges from India. As a result, the International Trade Administration will issue AD and/or CV duty orders on these goods.

Steel Plate. The ITA has rescinded its administrative review of the AD duty order on cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate products from Korea for the period Feb. 1, 2016, through Jan. 31, 2017, with respect to 12 companies due to the timely withdrawal of the request for review. As a result, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess AD duties on entries of subject goods from these companies during the period of review at the AD cash deposit rates required at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for review.
