DOC News: Civil Nuclear Trade, Supply Chain Competitiveness
The Department of Commerce’s Civil Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting June 24 via conference call. This committee provides industry advice on the development and administration of programs to expand U.S. exports of civil nuclear goods and services, including how export policies, programs, and activities will affect the industry’s competitiveness and ability to participate in the international market.
The upcoming meeting will feature a discussion of activities related to the Civil Nuclear Trade Initiative. Members of the public wishing to participate in this meeting must notify DOC by June 20.
The International Trade Administration’s Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness will hold public meetings June 19 and 20 in Washington, D.C. Comments for consideration during these meetings are due no later than June 10.
The ACSCC advises the ITA on the necessary elements of a comprehensive policy approach to supply chain competitiveness and on regulatory policies and programs and investment priorities that affect the competitiveness of U.S. supply chains. At the upcoming meeting committee members are expected to continue to discuss topics such as trade and competitiveness, freight movement and policy, trade innovation, regulatory issues, finance and infrastructure, and workforce development.
