AD/CV: Nails, Pencils, Uncoated Paper, Steel Sinks
Steel Nails. In the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on steel nails from the United Arab Emirates for the period May 1, 2015, through April 30, 2016, the International Trade Administration has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 184.41 percent for exporter/producer Overseas Distribution Services Inc. AD duties based on this rate will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and AD cash deposits at this rate will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Sept. 14.
The ITA also determined that Oman Fasteners LLC and Overseas International Steel Industry LLC had no shipments of subject goods to the U.S. during the period of review.
Pencils. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on cased pencils from China for the period Dec. 1, 2015, through Nov. 30, 2016, the ITA has determined that (a) Tianjin Tonghe Stationery Industrial Co. Ltd. and Ningbo Homey Union Co. Ltd. are not eligible for separate rates, (b) the entity comprised of Wah Yuen Stationery Co. Ltd. and Shandong Wah Yuen Stationery Co. Ltd. had no shipments of subject goods during the period of review, and (c) this review should be rescinded with respect to Orient International Holding Shanghai Foreign Trade Co. Ltd. and Shandong Rongxin Import & Export Co. Ltd.
Uncoated Paper. The ITA has rescinded its administrative review of the CV duty order on uncoated paper from Indonesia for the period June 29, 2015, through Dec. 31, 2016, with respect to PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk, and Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills based on a timely withdrawal of the request for review. The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess CV duties on entries of subject goods from this entity at the CV cash deposit rate required at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for consumption.
Steel Sinks. The ITA has rescinded its administrative review of the AD duty order on drawn stainless steel sinks from China for the period April 1, 2016, through March 31, 2017, with respect to 19 companies based on the timely withdrawal of the requests for review. The ITA will instruct CBP to assess AD duties on entries of subject goods from these companies at the AD cash deposit rates required at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for consumption.
