AD/CV: Mechanical Tubing, Tool Chests

Mechanical Tubing. The International Trade Administration has made preliminary affirmative countervailing duty determinations on cold-drawn mechanical tubing from China and India. The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect CV cash deposits at the net subsidy rates, which are 33.31 percent to 35.69 percent for China and 3.04 percent to 8.09 percent for India.

Tool Chests. The International Trade Commission has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of tool chests and cabinets from China and Vietnam. A hearing will be held Nov. 28, pre-hearing briefs are due by Nov. 21, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Nov. 22, post-hearing briefs are due by Dec. 5, and final comments are due by Dec. 22.
