Export Committees to Discuss Regulatory Changes, Other Issues

The Bureau of Industry and Security has issued notice of partially open meetings of the following technical advisory committees. Interested parties may attend the public sessions of these meetings in person or participate via teleconference.

- The Materials Processing Equipment TAC, which advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to materials processing equipment and related technology, will meet March 6 to discuss Wassenaar Arrangement meeting results as well as proposed and recently issued changes to the Export Administration Regulations.

- The Transportation and Related Equipment TAC, which advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to transportation and related equipment or technology, will meet March 7 to hear status reports by working group chairs as well as public proposals.

- The Materials TAC, which advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to materials and related technology, will meet March 8 to consider topics including streamlining licensing and challenges to data security, health, and national security.
