Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Iron Castings. In its sunset review of the antidumping duty order on iron construction castings from Brazil, Canada, and China and the countervailing duty order on such castings from Brazil, the International Trade Commission has determined that revocation of these orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to industries in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time. As a result, these orders will remain in place for another five years.

Coated Paper. In its sunset reviews of the AD and CV duty orders on coated paper suitable for high-quality print graphics using sheet-fed presses from China and Indonesia, the ITC has determined that revocation of these orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time. As a result, these orders will remain in place for another five years.

Wood Flooring. In the preliminary results of its new shipper reviews of the AD duty order on multilayered wood flooring from China for the period Dec. 1, 2014, through Nov. 30, 2015, the International Trade Administration has determined that Jiangsu Keri Wood Co. Ltd. did not make sales of subject goods at less than normal value and that Zhejiang Simite Wooden Co. Ltd.’s sale of subject goods to the U.S. is not bona fide.

New Sunset Reviews. The ITC has instituted sunset reviews of the AD duty orders on furfuryl alcohol from China and light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from Taiwan. Comments on these reviews, which will result in either the revocation or continuation of these orders, are due by Feb. 2.
