The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations.

Infotainment systems – Dec. 18 deadline for comments on public interest issues raised by a recommendation to issue (a) a limited exclusion order against infotainment systems, components thereof, and automobiles containing same that are imported, sold for importation, and/or sold after importation by the respondents as well as (b) cease and desist orders against certain respondents

Motorized vehicles – Dec. 6 deadline for comments on public interest issues raised by a recommendation that the ITC issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders if it finds a violation in investigation 337-TA-1132 of motorized vehicles and components thereof

Shaker screens – institution of investigation 337-TA-1184 of shaker screens for drilling fluids, components thereof, and related marketing materials (complainant M-I LLC, respondents located in China and the U.S.)

Water filters – in patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1126, issuance of (a) general exclusion order prohibiting the unlicensed entry of water filters and components thereof that infringe one or more of specified patent claims asserted by Electrolux Home Products Inc. and KX Technologies LLC and (b) cease and desist orders against two respondents
