Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is accepting comments through Oct. 29 on the proposed extension of information collections associated with the safety standard for infant bath seats. This standard requires infant bath seats to include (a) the name of the manufacturer, distributor or seller and place of business, telephone number or both; and (b) a code mark or other means that identifies the date of manufacture. The standard also requires infant bath seats to be provided with instructions regarding assembly, maintenance, cleaning, storage and use, as well as warnings.
