IPR Enforcement: Industrial Control Systems, Breathing Treatment Systems

Industrial Control Systems. The International Trade Commission has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1020 of industrial control system software, systems using same, and components thereof without the imposition of import restrictions. This termination is based on a settlement agreement between complainant Rockwell Automation Inc. and the respondents, which are located in Germany, Taiwan, and the U.S.

Breathing Treatment Systems. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-997 of sleep-disordered breathing treatment systems and components thereof as to certain patent claims asserted by complainants ResMed Corporation, ResMed Incorporated, and ResMed Limited based on their withdrawal of allegations pertaining to those claims.

The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-890 of similar products after determining to vacate the limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders issued in October 2014, which had been suspended in May 2016.
