Import Restrictions on Ruminants from Mexican Region Lifted

Effective April 27, the Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service will add the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, excluding the municipalities of Guadalupe y Calvo and Morelos, to the list of Mexican regions declared free from fever ticks. As a result, restrictions on the importation of ruminants from this area will be lifted.
