Import Restrictions on Archaeological and Ethnological Material from El Salvador

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has extended import restrictions on certain archaeological material from El Salvador and added certain ecclesiastical ethnological material to those restrictions. Categories of materials subject to these restrictions, which will remain in effect until March 2, 2025, include the following.

Archaeological Material

- figurines

- other small ceramic artifacts

- ceramic vessels and drums

- incense burners

- mushroom effigies

- stone sculptures

- small stone artifacts

- metal artifacts

Ethnological Material

- paintings

- sculptures

- furniture

- metalwork

- textiles

- documents and manuscripts
