Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The International Trade Commission has terminated without the imposition of import restrictions patent infringement investigation 337-TA-998 of hybrid electric vehicles and components thereof. This termination is based on a settlement between complainants Paice LLC and Abell Foundation Inc. and the respondents, which are located in Germany and the U.S.

Separately, the ITC received Feb. 2 on behalf of Paice a petition requesting that it institute a Section 337 investigation regarding hybrid electric vehicles and components thereof, with the proposed respondent located in the U.S.
