Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Graphics Processors. The International Trade Commission has terminated one patent from patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1099 of graphics processors and products containing the same at the request of the respondents because complainant ZiiLabs Inc. Ltd. could not obtain relief as to this patent prior to its expiration.

Mobile Electronic Devices. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1065 of mobile electronic devices and radio frequency and processing components thereof with respect to several patent claims at the request of complainant Qualcomm Incorporated.

Carburetors. The ITC has instituted investigation 337-TA-1123 to determine whether imports of carburetors and products containing same are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of patent infringement.

Complainant Walbro LLC requests that after this investigation the ITC issue an exclusion order, which would direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to prohibit the entry of infringing products into the U.S., and cease and desist orders, which would require the named respondents to cease actions that violate Section 337, including selling infringing imported articles out of U.S. inventory. The respondents in this investigation are located in China, Ireland, Hong Kong, and the U.S.
