Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Garlic. In the final results of its administrative and new shipper reviews of the antidumping duty order on fresh garlic from China for the period Nov. 1, 2015, through Oct. 31, 2016, the International Trade Administration has determined weighted average dumping margins of $2.69/kg to $3.19/kg. AD duties based on these margins will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and AD cash deposits at these rates will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after June 15.

The ITA has also rescinded this review with respect to one company that did not have a bona fide sale of subject goods and made a final determination that five companies had no shipments of subject goods to the U.S. during the period of review.

Large Diameter Pipe. The ITA has postponed from June 29 to Aug. 20 its preliminary AD duty determinations on large diameter welded pipe from Canada, China, Greece, India, Korea, and Turkey.
