Fruit and Vegetable Import Information Collections Under Review

The Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is accepting comments through Feb. 12 on the information collections associated with the following.

Importation of tomatoes from France, Morocco, Western Sahara, Chile, and Spain – greenhouse, production site, and treatment facility registration; trust fund agreement; documented quality control program; box labeling; application for import permit; appeal of denial or revocation of a permit; notice of arrival; emergency action notification; recordkeeping, and phytosanitary certificates issued by the national plant protection organization or similar agency of the country of origin with additional declaration stating that applicable regulatory provisions have been met

Importation of litchi and longan fruit from Vietnam into the continental U.S. – application for permit to import, appeal of denial of revocation of permit, orchard registration, phytosanitary certificate with additional declaration, notice of arrival, emergency action notification, and recordkeeping
