Flanges. The International Trade Commission has instituted antidumping and countervailing injury investigations of stainless steel flanges from China and India. A conference will be held Sept. 6, requests to appear at the conference are due by Sept. 1, and written submissions are due by Sept. 11. The ITC’s preliminary determinations are due by Oct. 2.

Pencils. In its sunset review of the AD duty order on cased pencils from China, the ITC has determined that revocation of this order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time. As a result, this order will remain in place.
