The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and countervailing duty cases.

File cabinets – scheduling of final phase of AD/CV injury investigations of vertical metal file cabinets from China (hearing scheduled for Oct. 8, pre-hearing briefs due Oct. 2, post-hearing briefs due Oct. 15, final comments due Nov. 5)

Glycine – scheduling of final phase of AD injury investigation of glycine from Thailand and termination of CV injury investigation following final negative CV duty determination

Graphite electrodes –  rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on small diameter graphite electrodes from China for the period Feb. 1, 2018, through Jan. 31, 2019, and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on such goods at the cash deposit rates

Hangers – sunset review determination that revocation of AD duty order on steel wire garment hangers from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time

Steel plate – rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from Japan for the period May 1, 2018, through April 30, 2019, and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on such goods at the cash deposit rates
