Export Privileges Suspended for Shipments to Restricted Locations and Entities

The Bureau of Industry and Security has issued orders suspending the export privileges of individuals and companies due to the violations specified below. As a result, neither these entities nor anyone acting on their behalf may directly or indirectly participate in any way in any transaction involving any commodity, software, or technology exported or to be exported from the U.S. that is subject to the Export Administration Regulations.

- four-year suspension for exporting aircraft parts and equipment and other goods through transshipment points in the United Arab Emirates to an entity in Syria listed as a specially designated global terrorist

- 180-day suspension for knowingly procuring U.S.-origin items subject to the EAR for export to persons on the BIS Entity List, at times via transshipment through Hong Kong, while providing false or misleading information in Automated Export System filings and to U.S. suppliers
