Export Committee on Sensors and Instrumentation to Meet

The Bureau of Industry and Security’s Sensors and Instrumentation Technical Advisory Committee will hold an open meeting Jan. 30 in San Francisco, Calif. This committee advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to sensors and instrumentation equipment and technology.

The public session of this meeting will include a summary of licensing statistics, remarks from BIS management, and industry presentations. This session will be accessible via teleconference to 20 participants on a first come, first served basis, and requests to join the conference are due by Jan. 23. In addition, a limited number of seats will be available at the public session.
