Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Electrodes. The International Trade Administration has rescinded its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on small-diameter graphite electrodes from China for the period Feb. 1, 2017, through Jan. 31, 2018, with respect to 191 companies based on the timely withdrawal of the requests for review. The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess AD duties on entries of subject goods from these companies at the AD cash deposit rates required at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for consumption.

Rubber Bands. The ITA has postponed from July 10 to Aug. 29 its preliminary AD duty determinations on rubber bands from China and Thailand. The petitioner requested a delay because the ITA is still conducting its investigations and more time is needed for interested parties to respond.

Propane Cylinders. The ITA has terminated its AD duty investigation of steel propane cylinders from Taiwan without the imposition of AD duties based on the withdrawal of the petition.
