Digital Cable Products. The International Trade Commission has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1049 of digital cable and satellite products, set-top boxes, gateways, and components thereof with respect to several patent claims asserted by Sony Corporation and Sony Electronics Inc.

Ink Cartridges. In patent infringement investigation 337-TA-565/946 of ink cartridges and components thereof, the ITC has terminated an advisory opinion proceeding based on a settlement agreement between complainants Epson Portland Inc., Epson America Inc., and Seiko Epson Corporation and three respondents. The respondents had sought an advisory opinion declaring that their refurbished Epson ink cartridges remanufactured using empty Epson ink cartridges collected from the U.S. are outside the scope of the general exclusion orders and cease and desist orders issued in these investigations.
