Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Directorate of Defense Trade Controls has announced that effective Nov. 7 Tony Dearth, director of the Office of Defense Trade Controls Licensing, became acting managing director for defense trade controls after the previous managing director, Lisa Aguirre, accepted a position at the Department of Health and Human Services. Until a permanent successor is determined, Terry Davis will be the acting director of ODTCL.

In addition, DDTC notes that Arthur Shulman is still acting director of the Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance pending the selection of a permanent replacement and that Rob Hart remains acting division chief for regulatory and multilateral affairs in the Office of Defense Trade Controls Policy during the absence of Sarah Heidema on a one-year educational detail to National Defense University.
