Certificate of Origin Under Review by CBP

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is accepting comments through Sept 13 on the proposed extension without change of CBP form 3229, Certificate of Origin: This form is used by shippers and importers to declare that goods being imported are produced or manufactured in a U.S. insular possession from materials grown, produced, or manufactured in such possession and are therefore entitled to duty-free entry. This form includes a list of the foreign materials included in the goods and their description and value.
