Classification Change Proposed for Evaporated Creamer
The following proposed revocation of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection ruling is included in the March 11, 2020, Customs Bulletin and Decisions. Comments are due by April 10.

CBP is proposing to reclassify evaporated creamer as other food preparations under HTSUS 1901.90.9195 (6.4 percent duty) rather than as dairy preparations containing over 10 percent by weight of milk solids under HTSUS 1901.90.6100 (16 percent duty). CBP explains that this creamer contains only 5.4 percent of non-fat milk solids. Ruling NY N305031 would be revoked to reflect this change.
