USDA Reviewing Information Collections on Citrus Imports from Peru

The Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is accepting through Dec. 28 comments on the proposed revision and extension of information collections associated with the regulations allowing imports of citrus fruit from Peru into the continental U.S. utilizing a systems approach. These include phytosanitary certificates, grower registrations and agreements, recordkeeping, fruit fly management programs with trapping and control of fruit fly inspections, import permit applications, port of first arrival sampling inspections, emergency action notifications, and notices of arrival.
