The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations.

Carburetors – termination without imposition of import restrictions of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1123 of carburetor and products containing same because complainant failed to satisfy the domestic industry requirement

Nicotine cartridges – termination of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1141 of cartridges for electronic nicotine delivery systems and components thereof with respect to one respondent based on a settlement agreement with complainant Juul Labs Inc.

Reusable straws – new IPR infringement complaint filed on foldable reusable drinking straws and components thereof (complainant The Final Co. LLC; proposed respondents located in China; public interest comments due by Oct. 22)

Wireless devices – initiation of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1180 of wireless communication devices and related components thereof (complainant Innovation Sciences LLC, respondents located in Taiwan and the U.S.)
