AD/CV Notices: Candles, Steel, Ferrovanadium, Plastic Bags, Tires
Candles. In its expedited sunset review of the antidumping duty order on petroleum wax candles from China, the International Trade Administration has determined that revocation of this order would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 95.86 percent.
Steel Sheet and Strip. The International Trade Commission has made preliminary affirmative antidumping and countervailing injury determinations on stainless steel sheet and strip from China. As a result, the International Trade Administration will continue its AD and CV duty investigations, with preliminary determinations due by May 9 (CV) and July 21 (AD).
Ferrovanadium. The ITC has instituted and scheduled the preliminary phase of an AD injury investigation of ferrovanadium from Korea. A conference will be held April 18, requests to appear at the conference are due by April 14, written submissions are due by April 21, and the ITC’s preliminary determination is due by May 12.
Plastic Bags. The ITC will hold an open meeting April 5 to vote in its sunset reviews of the AD and/or CV duty orders on polyethylene retail carrier bags from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. These reviews will result in either the continuation or revocation of these orders.
Truck and Bus Tires. The ITA has postponed from April 25 to June 27 the deadline for its preliminary CV duty determination on truck and bus tires from China.
