AD/CV Notices: Wooden Bedroom Furniture, Diamond Sawblades, Melamine
Wooden Bedroom Furniture. In the final results of its changed circumstances review of the antidumping duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from China, the International Trade Administration is revoking this order with respect to certain bed bases after having determined that the producers accounting for substantially all of the production of the domestic like product lack interest in the relief provided by this order with respect to such items. These items consist of a wooden box frame, three wooden cross beams and one perpendicular center wooden support beam, and wooden slats over the beams. They are constructed without inner springs and/or coils and do not include a headboard, footboard, side rails or mattress.
The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to liquidate without regard to AD duties, and to refund any estimated AD duties on, all unliquidated entries of subject bed bases that are not covered by the final results of an administrative review or automatic liquidation.
Diamond Sawblades. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on diamond sawblades and parts thereof from China for the period Nov. 1, 2013, through Oct. 31, 2013, the ITA has determined weighted average dumping margins from 0.75 percent to 57.10 percent for various Chinese exporters. The ITA is also rescinding this review with respect to Husqvarna (Hebei) Co. Ltd. and has preliminarily determined that six companies had no shipments of subject goods to the U.S. during the period of review.
Melamine. The International Trade Commission has made final affirmative AD and CV injury determinations on melamine from China but negative AD and CV injury determinations on such goods from Trinidad & Tobago. As a result, the ITA will issue AD and CV duty orders on this product from China but not from Trinidad & Tobago.
