The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations.

Audio players – new IPR infringement complaint filed on audio players and controllers, components thereof, and products containing the same (complainant Sonos Inc., proposed respondents located in the U.S., Jan. 21 deadline for comments on public interest issues raised by this complaint)

Microneedle patches – institution of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1189 of dissolving microneedle patches for cosmetic and pharmaceutical use (complainant TheraJect Inc.; respondent located in Korea)

Wearable monitors – institution of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1190 of wearable monitoring devices, systems, and components thereof (complainants Philips North America LLC and Koninklijke Philips N.V.; respondents located in Switzerland, China, and the U.S.)
