Wednesday, June 20, 2018
Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

In its first self-initiated antidumping duty investigation in 25 years, the International Trade Administration has made a preliminary dumping determination on common alloy aluminum sheet from China. As a result, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to begin requiring AD cash deposits on entries of subject goods at the preliminary dumping margin of 167.16 percent.

The ITA further found that critical circumstances exist with regard to imports of subject goods from four companies, the China-wide entity, and companies eligible for a separate rate.
