The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and countervailing duty cases.

Administrative reviews – initiation of administrative reviews of the following AD and/or CV duty orders for the periods July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019 (AD) and Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2018 (CV), unless otherwise noted

- aluminum extrusions from China (AD, May 1, 2018, through April 30, 2019; and CV)

- carbon steel butt-weld pipe fittings from China (AD)

- circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from China (AD/CV)

- citric acid and citrate salts from Belgium, Colombia, and Thailand (AD; Jan. 8, 2018, through June 30, 2019)

- cold-drawn mechanical tubing from China (CV; Sept. 25, 2017, through Dec. 31, 2018)

- cold-rolled steel flat products from China (AD/CV)

- corrosion-resistant steel products from China (AD/CV), Korea (AD/CV), and Taiwan (AD)

- fine denier polyester staple fiber from India (AD; Jan. 5, 2018, through June 30, 2019)

- finished carbon steel flanges from Spain (AD)

- monosodium glutamate from China (AD)

- pasta from Italy (AD/CV)

- polyethylene terephthalate resin from Canada (AD; May 1, 2018, through April 30, 2019)

- polyethylene terephthalate film from India (AD/CV) and Taiwan (AD)

- silicomanganese from Venezuela (AD; May 1, 2018, through April 30, 2019)

- steel concrete reinforcing bar from Turkey (AD/CV)

- steel nails from Korea (AD), Malaysia (AD), Oman (AD), Taiwan (AD), and Vietnam (AD/CV)

- xanthan gum from China (AD)

Aluminum oxide – ITA and ITC initiation of sunset reviews of AD duty order on refined brown aluminum oxide from China, which will result in either the revocation or continuation of this order

Line pipe – sunset review determination that revocation of AD and CV duty orders on circular welded carbon-quality steel line pipe from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time

Olives – European Union request for WTO dispute settlement panel on AD/CV duties on ripe olives from Spain (comments due by Oct. 7)

Structural steel – preliminary affirmative dumping determination on fabricated structural steel from China and Mexico, with new AD cash deposit rates of zero to 130.84 percent for China and zero to 16.96 percent for Mexico, and preliminary negative dumping determination on fabricated structural steel from Canada
