The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Aluminum extrusions – rescission of anti-circumvention inquiries regarding the AD and CV duty orders on aluminum extrusions from China with respect to aluminum window frame extrusions processed into aluminum jalousie shutters in the Dominican Republic

Glass containers – preliminary affirmative CV duty determination on glass containers from China, with net subsidy rates and new cash deposit rates of 22.6 to 315.73 percent

Hot-rolled steel – rescission of administrative review of CV duty order on hot-rolled steel flat products from Brazil for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2018, and instruction to CBP to assess CV duties on entries of such goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

New sunset reviews – ITA and ITC initiation of sunset reviews of the following AD and/or CV duty orders

- pre-stressed concrete steel wire strand from Brazil (AD), India (AD/CV), Japan (AD), Mexico (AD), Korea (AD), and Thailand (AD)

- tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol from China (AD)

- commodity matchbooks from India (AD/CV)

Request reviews – March 31 deadline to request administrative reviews of the following AD and/or CV duty orders for the period March 1, 2019, through Feb. 29, 2020 (AD) or Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2019 (CV), unless otherwise noted

- ammonium sulfate from China (AD/CV)

- amorphous silica fabric from China (AD/CV)

- biaxial integral geogrid products from China (AD/CV)

- brass sheet and strip from France, Germany, and Italy (AD)
