AD/CV: PTFE Resin, Biodiesel, Staples

PTFE Resin. The International Trade Commission has made preliminary affirmative antidumping injury determinations on polytetrafluoroethylene resin from China and India and a preliminary affirmative countervailing injury determination on PTFE resin from India. As a result, the International Trade Administration will continue its AD and CV duty investigations, with preliminary determinations due by Dec. 22 (CV) and March 7 (AD).

Biodiesel. The ITA has made final affirmative CV duty determinations on biodiesel from Argentina and Indonesia. As a result, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect AD cash deposits on entries of subject goods at the net subsidy rates, which range from 71.45 percent to 72.28 percent for Argentina and 34.45 percent to 64.73 percent for Indonesia.

Carton-Closing Staples. The ITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD injury investigation of carton-closing staples from China. A hearing will be held March 13, requests to appear at the hearing are due by March 7, pre-hearing briefs are due by March 6, post-hearing briefs are due by March 20, and final comments are due by April 12.
