AD/CV: PET Film, Rebar, Copper Pipe and Tube

PET Film, Sheet, and Strip. In the final results of its administrative review of the countervailing duty order on polyethylene terephthalate film, sheet, and strip from India for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2014, the International Trade Administration has determined net subsidy rates of 5.52 percent for Jindal Poly Films Limited and 2.16 percent for SRF Limited. CV duties at these rates will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and CV cash deposits at these rates will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Dec. 9.

In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on PET film, sheet, and strip from the United Arab Emirates for the period Nov. 1, 2014, through Oct. 31, 2015, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 7.93 percent for JBF RAK LLC. AD duties based on this rate will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and AD cash deposits at this rate will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Dec. 9.

Rebar. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Mexico for the period April 24, 2014, through Oct. 31, 2015, the ITA has determined weighted average dumping margins of zero for Grupo Simec S.A.B. de C.V. and 0.56 percent for Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V.

In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the CV duty order on rebar from Turkey for the period Sept. 15 through Dec. 31, 2014, the ITA has determined net subsidy rates of zero to 0.02 percent for the reviewed companies.

Copper Pipe and Tube. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on seamless refined copper pipe and tube from Mexico for the period Nov. 1, 2014, through Oct. 31, 2015, the ITA has determined weighted average dumping margins of 1.93 percent for GD Affiliates S. de R.L. de D.V. and 6.50 percent for Nacional de Cobre S.A. de C.V. The ITA has also preliminarily determined that IUSA S.A. de C.V. had no shipments of subject goods to the U.S. during the period of review.
