The Department of Commerce’s Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness will hold a public conference call meeting March 8. Those wishing to participate in or listen to this meeting must register by March 3.

The ACSCC provides advice to the DOC on the necessary elements of a comprehensive policy approach to supply chain competitiveness designed to support U.S. export growth and national economic competitiveness, encourage innovation, facilitate the movement of goods, and improve the competitiveness of U.S. supply chains for goods and services in the domestic and global economy. It also advises the DOC on regulatory policies and programs and investment priorities that affect the competitiveness of U.S. supply chains.

During the upcoming conference call committee members are expected to deliberate and vote on separate letters outlining priority recommendations for the Trump administration and recommendations for NAFTA negotiations.
