After holding several rounds of consultations with the Mexican private sector, educational institutions, and other stakeholders from Feb. 1 through May 3, the Mexican government is seeking additional input from interested parties by July 26 on the modernization of NAFTA. This effort is aimed at broadening Mexico’s NAFTA negotiating strategy by seeking comments from segments of the Mexican population that may not have had a chance to participate in the initial consultation process.
