The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and countervailing duty cases.

MSG – dumping margin of zero for one producer/exporter in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on monosodium glutamate from Indonesia for the period Nov. 1, 2016, through Oct. 31, 2017

PET film – dumping margin of 0.87 percent for one producer/exporter in amended final results of administrative review of AD duty order on polyethylene terephthalate film, sheet, and strip from India

Request reviews – Sept. 3 deadline to request administrative reviews of the following AD and/or CV duty orders for the periods Aug. 1, 2018, through July 31, 2019 (AD) and Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2018 (CV), unless otherwise noted

- brass sheet and strip from Japan (AD)

- carbon and alloy seamless standard, line, and pressure pipe from Romania (AD)

- large power transformers from Korea (AD)

- tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol from China (AD)

- tow-behind lawn groomers and parts thereof from China (AD)

Sodium nitrite – sunset review determination that revocation of AD and CV duty orders on sodium nitrite from China and AD duty order on sodium nitrite from Germany would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time

Solar products – final determination that United Renewable Energy Co. Ltd. is the successor-in-interest to Gintech Energy Corporation, Neo Solar Power Corporation, and Solartech Energy Corporation for purposes of the AD duty order on crystalline silicon photovoltaic products from Taiwan and should receive their AD cash deposit rate, which is currently 1.33 percent.
