Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements has determined to add to the short supply list in the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement in unrestricted quantities certain 100% cashmere two-ply yarns classified under HTSUS 5108.10 and 5108.20. CITA found that these yarns are not available in commercial quantities in a timely manner in the U.S. As a result, textile and apparel goods containing such yarns, regardless of where they are sourced, may be imported duty-free from Korea into the U.S.
