Licensing Procedures for Food and Medicine Exports to Sudan and Iran Under Review

The Office of Foreign Assets Control is accepting no later than Jan. 6, 2016, comments on the effectiveness of its licensing procedures for the exportation of agricultural commodities, medicine and medical devices to Sudan and Iran for the period Oct. 1, 2012, through Sept. 30, 2014. These comments will be used to help develop a required biennial report to Congress that includes the number and types of licenses applied for and approved, the average amount of time elapsed from the date of filing of a license application until the date of its approval, the extent to which the licensing procedures were effectively implemented, and a description of public comments.
